The Opportunity:
The Physical Security Systems Technician will work with Information Security, Facilities, Office Expansion and Project Management teams to implement and support proper Physical Security protocol for all Fisher Investments locations. You will also work with vendors and planning leadership to ensure proper expansion timelines and guidelines are met. You will report to Information Security Team Lead.
The Day-to-Day:
Deliver physical access control and video monitoring technologies to support building security and privacy requirementsConduct and manage system maintenance, upgrades, and enhancementsDesign, document, and implement physical security technology using structural drawings and as-builtsTroubleshoot and resolve hardware and application issuesTroubleshoot and resolve break-fixesSupport end-users, vendors, and teams across multiple times zonesManage vendors during installations and support visitsEffectively escalate and communicate implementation issues internally and externallyMaintain strict confidentiality with information while safeguarding intellectual propertyFollow corporate physical security technical policies, standards, and operating proceduresAssist, where needed, with the development and implementation of physical security technical policies, standards, and operating proceduresOccasional travel is required domestically and internationally (passport required)Occasional after hours support for both planned implementation and break-fixesYour Qualifications:
5+ years Physical Security hardware and software technical experience in an enterprise environment3+ years supporting Physical Security projectsSuccessful project participation and delivery at an enterprise levelComprehension and adaptation of Information Security and Risk conceptsThe ability to translate complex technical concepts into business friendly languageExperience in Financial Services or other regulated industry with security as a top priorityTechnical Skills:Application installation and end-user support for enterprise ACS, VMS, and CCTV components such as electronic locks, card readers, request to exit devices, access control panels, reader boards, power supplies and cameras.Hardware troubleshooting of ACS, VMS, and CCTV componentsAPI integration into physical security systemsWindows Server and workstation troubleshootingBasic networking concepts and troubleshootingExperience with project frameworksExperience with architectural design softwareWhy Fisher Investments:
