Our growing outpatient physical therapy practice is seeking a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) with a PA PT License at our Mechanicsburg office.   

 We’re looking for 3 things in an ideal candidate:

Manual Therapy: You can deliver Grade V mobilizations for patients.  OR you’re willing to learn and want to advance your manual therapy skills.  Madden & Gilbert PT offers a COMT for our DPTs.  100% have completed or are in the process of earning their COMT.  We have a team of advanced, experienced clinicians who have mentored other clinicians.  We’re looking for DPT candidates who want to learn and develop their skill sets.  Example Grade V mobilization techniques include: Reverse Ehrhard, long axis distraction of the LE, lumbar roll, supine and prone thoracic thrusts, CT junction, and non-physiologic locking. Insistence on Patient Outcomes.  We measure the success of our DPTs by graduation rate.  This is the number of patients who achieve their goals, complete their plan of care and graduate PT.  We noticed the DPTs on our team with the highest graduation rates are bothered when a patient isn’t improving as expected.  If this is you, it’s not common.  And it’s a good sign you might be one of us. Excellent Communicator.  As a DPT, you will have to communicate with patients, physicians and other team members.  Each one has their own language.  We want a DPT who can talk lay, simple language with patients.  Then switch to professional language with a colleague.  Good communication is key for this role.

 Important information about Madden & Gilbert PT:

We are an outpatient practice serving Central PA since 2003.  We currently have 7 locations with plans to open more.  We have 100+ team members and 40+ DPTs.  There will be future opportunities for growth.

Our Mechanicsburg office opened in its current location in 2009.  You’ll be joining 5 clinicians at that office.  Jon Milliron, DPT, COMT is the Clinical Director and has been with M&G since 2009.
In addition to the COMT, we offer a formal mentorship program for all clinicians, whether new grad or experienced DPT.
