· Specialty hospital for medically complex patients
· Pulmonary and Vapotherm Center of Excellence
· Staff consists of all Registered Respiratory Therapist, 65% BSN or above RN’s, Current staff certifications include CCRN, PCCN, CNML, WCNC, NEA-BC, and RN-BC
· Onsite BSN completion program partnership with South University with staff discounted rate
· Simulation Lab and Clinical Transition Pilot Program
· Free prep courses for national certifications
· Robust atmosphere for Clinicals - partnerships with multiple nursing, pharmacy, therapy and respiratory schools.

**The role you’ll contribute** **:**
The Physical Therapy Assistant implements patient care for assigned patients under the direction of a Physical Therapist in accordance with the FPTA standards and pursuant to Florida Department of Professional Regulation, Chapter 486.021 (b): "The practice of PT Assistant means a person who is licensed in accordance with the provisions of this chapter to perform patient related activities, including the use of physical agents, whose license is in good standing and whose activities are performed under the direction of a PT as set forth in rules adapted pursuant to this chapter".

· Collection of comprehensive data pertinent to the patients' health or situation.
· Assists the Physical Therapist in the review of assessment data to identify diagnoses or issues.
· Assists the Physical Therapist in planning interventions and goals with the patient / family based on identified problems and desired outcomes.
· The Patient's Plan of Care is developed to attain expected outcomes.
· Implements the identified plan.
· Evaluates progress toward attainment of expected outcomes
Qualifications

· Associate 0 years experience
· Graduate of an accredited School for PT Assistant / Physical Therapy Assistant Degree
