Aspirus Home Health in Portage, WI is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our field team!

The Physical Therapy Assistant will be an integral part of providing a positive experience for the population we care for and work with by supporting the Customer Service initiatives. Exceptional communication skills will be needed to meet the needs of patients, patient’s family and friends, referring physician, clinic staff, hospital clinical and ancillary staff. Communicates, collaborates with, and provides information to patients, families, caregivers, visitors, members of the health care team.

HOURS: Occasional only

Experience/Qualifications

Knowledge of physical therapy standards and practices normally acquired through completion of a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy from a school of Physical Therapy accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).Current Wisconsin and/or Michigan licensure to practice Physical Therapy required.Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hirePossesses and maintains a valid Driver’s License required.Possesses automobile liability insurance with $100,000/$300,000 coverage required, or $300,000 combined single-limit liability.
