Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient PRN

Schedule: Part time or PRN, weekdays (Mon-Fri) as early as 8A until 5P

Specialties:  neuro, vestibular, concussion, sports medicine, oncology (ReVital), and Post Offer Employment Testing (POETs)

 

 

We are seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA) to join our outpatient orthopedic team. This role is perfect for someone with outpatient experience who values work-life balance. We’ll pair our coverage needs with your availability to create a schedule that works for you. New graduate physical therapist assistants are welcome to apply. We can offer steady part time hours, or casual as needed/ per diem. We have additional clinicians on staff able to support a new graduate.

Responsibilities Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and proceduresMaintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff. Qualifications College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant programPassed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTEValid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)CPR certification
