**Miami Valley Hospital** **Physical Therapist Assistant (PRN)** + **_PRN: Hours vary, some Weekends required_** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at our **Level 1 Trauma Center** . In this role, you will work closely with Physical Therapists to deliver direct patient care, supporting individuals in improving their physical and/or cognitive function while adapting to disabilities, as outlined in your scope of practice. **Key Responsibilities:** + Assist in the delivery of patient care by providing therapeutic interventions that promote recovery and enhance physical or cognitive abilities. + Document treatment progress and outcomes in accordance with departmental standards and guidelines. + Collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing positively to patient care and team dynamics. + Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge. + Support the supervision and mentorship of students and volunteers when appropriate. + Assist in orienting new staff members to departmental practices and procedures.
