Acute Rehab - May Cross Train For Inpatient Rehab

Schedule: 7am-3:30pm every other Saturday and at least 1 holiday per year. Opportunities to pick up extra shifts during the week and on weekends if desired. 

Location: Grand Blanc, MI

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Conduct medically prescribed physical therapy under the supervision of a physical therapist. Provide physical therapy interventions under a plan of care written by a physical therapist. Perform therapy interventions utilizing techniques and skills as appropriate for the patient population. Document treatment interventions given. May coordinate activities of physical therapy aides, students and other support personnel.

EDUCATION/LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy Asst credentialed from the Michigan Board of Physical Therapy required. High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.  Additional Information Organization: Henry Ford Health Genesys Hospital Department: Physical Therapy 001 Shift: Day Job Union Code: Not Applicable
