SSM Health Day Institute is seeking a Physical Therapist to work in our specialized outpatient rehabilitation program. We have ten centers across the St. Louis Metro area serving individuals recovering from a traumatic injury or illness who no longer require 24-hour nursing or acute rehabilitative care. We take a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary approach to build skills and maximize independence. Responsibilities Evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plan in accordance with the patient’s need and physician directionResponsible for delegation and direction of all discipline specific therapy services for those assigned patientsEnsures design of functional treatment programs allowing for effective return to community activitiesServes as an educator of patients, families, students, coworkers and selfPerforms other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, development of discipline specific therapy services and design of program delivery Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy required.Current and valid state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Therapist required.CPR certification Additional Data*Generous benefits package including:
