Position Summary:

This position is for an outpatient Float Physical Therapist in the Park Nicollet system. Primary coverage responsibilities are for the Central Region (St. Louis Park, Chanhassen, Minneapolis with potential for Plymouth, Minnetonka, and Maple Grove).  Placements are typically long term to help cover medical leaves or patient access needs at busy sites. 

Provides direct patient care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations, with pediatric care required for some specialty positions. This position uses a variety of physical therapy techniques to restore individuals to maximum functional ability, independence, participation, and freedom from pain. Performs related duties as assigned.

Work Schedule:

1.00 FTE, Monday-Friday Weekends Variable

Required Qualifications:

Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination: Doctorate, master’s, or bachelor’s degree in physical therapy  Licensure/ Registration/ Certification: Licensed with the Minnesota Board of Physical Therapy

Preferred Qualifications:

Proficient with communication and data processing equipment.  Proficient in clinical equipment related to area of expertise.  Proficient in organization electronic medical record software. Recommend experience as a Physical Therapist preferably in a medical setting. Recommend membership in related professional organization.
