Evaluates and treats patients of all ages who suffered loss of upper, lower extremities function, balance, coordination, endurance, or present with pain, or wounds/burns due to illnesses, trauma, or surgery. This position creates a treatment plan based on assessment findings and works with patients and families to achieve the highest possible level of independence.
ResponsibilitiesPRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES(*Essential Functions)
Designs and implements treatment plans based on assessment findings.Documents assessments and interventions accurately and timely.Educates patients and family members.Evaluates patients muscle strength, ROM, endurance, balance, pain, skin integrity and overall function level.Participates in multi-disciplinary meetings and case reviews.Supervises PT and PTA students as needed.Supervises PTA and Aides as needed.
