Gundersen Health System is looking for a fulltime Inpatient Physical Therapist to join our hospital therapy team in La Crosse, WI.

What You'll Do:

As an Inpatient Physical Therapist, you will provide evaluation for our patients with therapy orders. You will work with patients to offer collaborative methods for assessing, treating, and rehabilitating their injuries, as well as devising injury prevention and training strategies to help patients resume their normal daily activities awhile maintaining safety. You will collaborate with referring providers and other clinical staff in providing optimal patient care as well as appropriate and timely communication. Our therapy team consists of 21 PTs, 15 PTAs, 21 OTs, 10 COTAs, and 16 Rehabilitation Technicians.

What's Available:

Fulltime, 72 hours biweekly (0.9 FTE)

Day shifts, 0730-1600 or 0800-1630, with rotating weekends and holidays

Minimum starting salary of $78,644 and up (1.0 FTE), based on your years of work experience, along with applicable weekend shift differentials and holiday pay

What You'll Need:  

Bachelor's degree, or higher, in Physical Therapy from an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) approved curriculum in Physical Therapy

State of Wisconsin Physical Therapist License 

Current Infant-Adult BLS for Health Care Providers from American Heart Association or American Red Cross. 

Prior experience in Neuro-Vestibular or had a clinical rotation in a Neuro-Vestibular area highly desired
