Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for a Physical Therapist with a strong outpatient skill set and comfort in treating patients with neurologic related impairments. We currently have a team of therapists certified in LSVT. We are looking to strengthen that team as well as build our strength in areas of stroke recovery and MS.  The ideal candidate will have a skill set to provide care and personality to join a strong collaborative team and participate in group discussion to further develop program and serve our community. Case mix is open for discussion to include partial caseload or near exclusive caseload of neuro impaired patients. If you are passionate about delivering personalized care and thrive in a collaborative environment, we want to hear from you!

The Work:

Physical Therapist comfortable treating PT patients with variety of neuro diagnosis as part of the case mix.Performs initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.Designs the appropriate plan of care, including type and frequency of treatment.Implements the treatment plan using appropriate modalities.Documents subjective, objective, and assessment findings and plans patient progress.Educates and counsels the patient and family/caregiver.Plans and/or assists with patient discharge from therapy services and treatment setting.Provides information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and support programs.Supervises and delegates the care provided by physical therapy assistants according to established licensing laws, state regulations and practice standards.

 

You Have:

Maine State Physical Therapy licensure required.Additional Training in areas of Neuro RehabBasic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider preferred.
