Sheltering Arms Institute is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our outpatient team. This position provides coverage at our Reynolds center and treats primarily concussion and vestibular conditions. The Physical Therapist provides quality, comprehensive, patient-centered physical therapy services including patient examination, development and administration of a treatment plan, documentation and communication with team members, and clinical direction and supervision to licensed/non-licensed personnel. Instructs therapy support staff, students, other team members, and patient and/or caregivers.
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience/expertise in outpatient rehabilitation preferred. Concussion and vestibular experience is preferred.Education/Certifications
Graduate of an accredited physical therapy educational program required. Virginia licensure to practice or eligibility and application for licensure by the Physical Therapy Board of the Virginia State Board of Health Professions required. Healthcare professionals CPR certification required. Doctoral degree from an accredited physical therapy programs and/or specialty practice certification preferred.
