Physical Therapist Outpatient

Job Description:

Full Time / 40 hours weekly

The Physical Therapist shall evaluate and treat patients; develop a treatment plan; and set goals for patients.

Patient and family education is included in the treatment plan and goals. Maintain communication with doctors and other health professionals. Complete documentation according to applicable national and state regulations as well as hospital and departmental policies.Assist with the education of affiliated students, the department staff, hospital staff, and the community at large. Appropriately delegate to and supervise physical therapist assistants and technicians. Participate in the departmental operational plan. Intervene appropriately and meet the needs of the patients with impaired physical, mental abilities, vision, hearing, or mobility

Requirements:

Bachelor's in Physical TherapyNo Experience RequiredPrefer acute care job experienceEligible for a temporary license or Licensed as a Physical Therapist by the Kentucky Board of Physical TherapyMust obtain BLS within 3 months of hire
