QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy required. 1 year of documented professional experience with individuals from birth to five years of age who have developmental delays and disabilities. Licensed Physical Therapist, State of New Jersey.

Position Responsibilities
Provides necessary clinical services:
Provides prevention, screening, consultation, assessment, treatment, management and follow-up services for:
Orthopedic anomalies and/or concerns of the spine, trunk, and lower extremities. Analysis of posture, gait patterns, locomotion and balance. Analysis of appropriate adaptive and mobility devices. Addresses positioning and strategies as related to feeding, play skills, ADL and augmentative communication. Gross motor delays. Tonal abnormalities. Motor-planning and sensory awareness issues. Collaborates with orthotist and prosthetist in selection and management of orthotic/prosthetic. Assists families’ understanding of specific diagnosis and impact on gross motor development.Maintains Clinical Records:
Completes all IFSP service logging, Evaluation Reports, Practitioner Reviews, and Assessment Reports in the Early Intervention Management System within 24 hours of service delivery. Maintains and submits accurate records for quality monitoring and legal purposes. Accurately Completes NJEIS generated service verification logs and has parent/caregiver sign log at the end of each NJEIS service visit. Documents all abuse completely, appropriately, and in a timely manner consistent with state regulation and Inspira policy.
