Responsibilities

The Physical Therapists performs evaluation/re-evaluation, develops a plan of care, provides evidence-based treatment, assess data reflective of the patient's status and appropriately interprets information relative to the patient's needs. Works closely with the patient, family, and members of a physician-led team in providing individualized patient treatment. Completes required documentation of care and appropriate billing consistent with professional guidelines. Engages in research, education and quality initiatives in pursuit of excellence in the provision of care, as well as develops and carries out a personalized plan for professional growth.

During the selection process you will participate in a virtual (pre-recorded) interview that you can complete at your convenience. During the virtual interview, a question will appear on your screen, and you will have time to consider each question before responding. You will have the opportunity to re-record your answer to each question — Mayo Clinic will only see the final recording. The complete interview will be reviewed by a Mayo Clinic staff member and you will be notified of next steps as appropriate.



Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited college or university required.

Additional Qualifications:

An academic or professional doctorate is preferred (PhD, DSc, DPT).Must be able to work in an on-call capacity. 

License/Certifications:

Advanced Board Specialty Certification is preferred. Current Arizona licensure as a Physical Therapist required. Basic Life Support certification is required upon hire and must be valid for 90 days or greater from start date. Maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) competency.

Schedule Details

Requirements include 2 weekend days per 4 week cycle, 1 major and 1 minor holiday per calendar year. Additional weekday and weekend shifts available based on need.
