Qualifications:

Education:

Graduate of an accredited school of physical therapy. Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy if graduated prior to January 1, 2016. Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) required if graduated on or after January 1, 2016. International candidates must possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy. A Doctorate is preferred.

Licensure/Certification:

Must hold or be eligible to obtain a Physical Therapist license in the state where services will be provided. State licensure must be obtained within the first 90 days of employment. CPR certification is required or must be obtained within the first 90 days of employment. All certifications and licenses must be maintained according to their expiration dates.

Professional Membership:

Membership in the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) is preferred.

Other Requirements:

If assigned to drive a company vehicle, a valid driver’s license is required. If assigned to drive a personal vehicle, proof of insurance is required in addition to a valid driver’s license.

Experience:

Work experience is not required beyond clinical experience obtained during educational training.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift 50 pounds, assist with a combined lift of 100 pounds, and push up to 300 pounds.

Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication skills. Flexibility to work at other locations as assigned.
