Job Summary
The Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing treatment programs to improve patient mobility, function, and overall well-being. This role requires strong clinical skills, effective communication, and a commitment to patient-centered care. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to support recovery and rehabilitation.
Education & Licensure
+ Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
+ Degree Requirements:
+ Bachelor's degree required if graduated before January 1, 2016.
+ Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) required if graduated after January 1, 2016.
+ International candidates must hold at least a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy (DPT preferred).
+ Must obtain a Physical Therapist license in the state of practice within the first 90 days of employment.
+ CPR certification required within 90 days of employment.
+ Must maintain all required certifications and licensure.
Experience & Skills
+ Clinical experience through an educational training program required; prior work experience preferred but not mandatory.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
+ Ability to lift 50 pounds, assist with 100 pounds, and push up to 300 pounds.
Additional Requirements
+ Professional Membership: American Physical Therapy Association membership preferred.
+ Transportation:
+ Valid driver’s license required for company vehicle use.
+ Proof of insurance required if using a personal vehicle.
+ Must be willing to work at multiple locations as needed.
