Paducah Out-patient Physical Therapy
PTA - Full Time 40 hours weekly
The physical therapist assistant (PTA) will treat patients; maintain communication with doctors and other health personnel; supervise aides, volunteers, support staff, and students under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist in compliance with the Kentucky State Board of Physical Therapy Practice Act. The PTA will follow hospital and departmental policies and procedures
Essential Duties:
Patient CareCompletes documentation and billing per regulatory, payor, practice act, hospital, and departmental policies/guidelinesProvides patient/family education and provides home exercise program tailored to the patient’s needs.Functions as an active member of the patient care teamRequirements:
Associates in a Physical Therapist Assistant ProgramEligible for a temporary license or Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant by the Kentucky Board of Physical TherapyMust obtain BLS within 3 months of hireBenefits:
