As a home care **Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)** on our team, you will assist clients in attaining or maintaining optimal physical wellbeing by providing treatment, tests, client education and appropriate interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.

**Our Physical Therapy Assistants deliver exceptional care to every client.**
+ Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
+ Assist clients in attaining or maintaining optimal physical wellbeing by providing treatment, tests, client education and appropriate interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.
+ Develop and implement appropriate individualized care plans, including manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance, and other interventions.
+ Continually assess and revise the Physical Therapy - PT care plan
+ Educate and instruct clients, family members, or other client representatives, in rehabilitative care and activities necessary to promote the health, safety, and independent living of the client.
+ Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to client care management

**Qualifications for a BAYADA Physical Therapy Assistants:**
+ A current Physical Therapist Assistant license in AZ
+ Have graduated from a two-year college level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association, or
+ Have two years of appropriate experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant and a satisfactory grade on a proficiency exam conducted, approved or sponsored by the U.S. Public Health Service when initial qualification occurred before December 31, 1977
+ A minimum of one year of recent work experience under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist
+ Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
