**As a Physical Therapy Assistant, at Merit Health Biloxi, you'll play a vital role in doing what you do best-providing quality care to our patients!**
**Duties Include :**
+ Assists a Physical Therapist with a patient's rehabilitative activities to help reduce pain and improve mobility.
+ Assists in exercise instruction and demonstration, patient evaluation and testing.
+ Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
+ Performs a variety of tasks.
+ A limited degree of creativity and latitude is required.
+ Typically reports to a physical therapist.
**Requirements:**
+ Associate's degree from an accredited program
+ Licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant (Bachelors degree preferred)
+ Current Physical Therapist Assistant MS state license.
+ BLS certification required.
