PHYSICAL THERAPY ASSISTANT

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
A member of the health care team who is responsible for directing, modifying and administering physical therapy modalities of treatment as supervised by the staff physical therapist.
QUALIFICATIONS
Professional/Educational Graduate of an accredited program in Physical Therapy. License required. Basic computer knowledge. Certified by the American Heart Association in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). DCFS Mandated Reporter Certificate of Completion required.
Personal Works effectively with others, possessing tact, discretion and diplomacy. Demonstrates leadership and teaching ability. Demonstrates an ability to be flexible, organized and function under stressful situations.
Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
