Position Summary: 

The Physical Therapy Assistant exists to assist the Physical Therapists in daily patient care.  The purpose of the position is to support service excellence standards and to act as support staff for the continuing effort to provide excellent patient care in all aspects.

Minimum Qualifications:

Montana Licensure (Physical Therapy Assistant)American Heart Association BLS required within one month of hirePreferred: 1 year experience in a hospital based program (out-patient and acute care)

Essential Job Functions:

Provides direct patient care/ maintains communication with supervising therapistsDocumentation and daily charge entry of patient treatmentsScheduling and reception of patientsChart auditsAssists therapists with chart checks and documentation requirementsInvolvement in staff/nurse orientation and education
