Duties:
Performs day-to-day duties with the supervisor providing general guidelines regarding the nature of therapeutic activities and the program in general.Consult with attending PT to ensure appropriate length of care.Make recommendations and utilizes the various modalities of physical therapy, as prescribed, to include diathermy, hydrotherapy, massage, electrotherapy, ultrasound and therapeutic exercise.Provide updated status in patient progress reports, as well as other administrative reports.Initiate, implement, plan, and recommend progressive treatment plan. Qualification Requirements:
One year of specialized experience which includes implementing physical therapy treatment plans, instructing on physical therapy programs, or providing status reports
*A current, active, valid, and unrestricted license or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant from a state, the District of Columbia, or a territory of the United States is required.
