We want your knowledge and expertise! **Job Summary and Qualifications** Physical Therapy Assistant IRF - Full-time, Days The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) is responsible for carrying out the treatment program and plan of care and monitoring outcomes as related to assessment and goals developed by the Physical Therapist. Reviews and communicates the patients’ status on a regular basis with the Physical Therapist and requests modifications to the plan of care if applicable. Provides patient and staff education and implements patient programs. Manages his/her own patient caseload seeking direction from the Physical Therapist as appropriate. **What qualifications you will need:** + Associate Degree from a Physical Therapist Assistant program + State Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant + Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date HCA Florida West Hospital is a 515-bed facility.
