Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our physical therapists to support our residents' rehabilitation journeys.

Key Responsibilities:

Measure and record residents' motor function, strength, and muscle performance. Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans. Observe residents and write progress reports. Evaluate residents' ability to function independently. Assist residents with exercises and equipment, including stretches and massages. Educate residents on proper exercise techniques to strengthen muscles and improve mobility. Contribute positively to the team effort and overall care environment.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Current New York State PTA license. Experience in long-term care is a plus!
