Physician, Pediatric Neonatology

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Active practitioner with eligibility or certification by a board recognized by the American Board of Specialties.  Pediatrician with exceptional skills in the care and treatment of Level I, and II  babies in the ADC Nursery.  Pediatrician would cover hospital schedule and share call coverage with the community/UTMB pediatricians.  Participation in evening and weekend phone call coverage and attend any meeting deemed necessary by the Medical Director.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have a MD or DO degree and a current and unrestricted license to practice in the State of Texas.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Registration with Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA); Basic Cardiac Support (BCLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification with continuous renewal every two years; Administrative experience.

SALARY:
Commensurate with experience
