Physician – Adult Medicine
Job Summary: The Physician - Adult Medicine will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive healthcare services to adult patients, focusing on preventive care, diagnosis, and treatment of various medical conditions. This position requires the physician to develop long-term relationships with patients, ensuring continuity of care and promoting overall health and wellness within the community. The physician will be responsible for conducting thorough examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and formulating treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Additionally, the role involves educating patients and their families about health management and disease prevention strategies. Ultimately, the physician will contribute to improving the quality of life for patients while fostering a supportive and healing environment in the practice. Minimum Qualifications: * Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution. * Board certification in Internal and/or Family Medicine, or eligibility for certification. * Valid medical license to practice in the state of employment. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and staff. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience in an Internal Medicine practice, Family Medicine practice or Primary Care setting. * Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems. Responsibilities: * Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations. * Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions and illnesses. * Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including lab work and imaging studies. * Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients. * Provide preventive care and health education to patients and their families. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations. * Participate in continuous professional development and stay current with medical advancements. Skills: The required skills for this position include strong clinical assessment abilities, which are essential for accurately diagnosing and treating patients.
