DEPARTMENT OF GASTROENTEROLOGY – IBD SPECIALIST
OCHSNER MEDICAL CENTER – NEW ORLEANS

Supported by health system growth, the Department of Gastroenterology at Ochsner Medical Center – New Orleans is seeking 1 Board Certified/Board Eligible GASTROENTEROLOGIST to join its practice within the subsection of INFLAMMATORY BOWEL DISEASE (IBD).

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE POSITION:

·        Focus on IBD

·        Join an existing, experienced GI/IBD subspecialist

·        Existing, regional, multidisciplinary IBD program

·        Dedicated clinical support team of IBD-focused medical assistants and clinic nurse

·        Strong collaborative support from colorectal surgery, GI pathology, and GI radiology

·        Highly collegial, 16-physician, GI group comprised of general GIs, hepatologists, GI subspecialists, and advanced endoscopists

·        Integrated practice model with a strong, internal referral network

·        GI-dedicated clinical research infrastructure

·        24/7 reliable hospitalists onsite

·        Opportunity to teach — Institution supports strong GI fellowship and Internal Medicine residency programs

·        EPIC medical record platform utilized throughout the Ochsner Health System

·        Tort reform state
