Marcos Medical Care is currently seeking a Full-time Physician to join our busy and established Primary Care clinic in the Stone Oak area of San Antonio. Marcos Medical Care is looking for the right candidate to further grow our practice. We are part of a Medicare ACO as well as several Medicare Advantage plans. Approximaely 40% of our patient population is Medicare age. While we see a few adolescents and individuals in their 20's and 30's, the majority of our commercial patients are in the 45 to 65 age range.Essential Functions:Performs physical examinations and preventative health measures within prescribed guidelinesPerforms therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations and wound care, and managing infectionsDevelops and implements patient management plans, records progress notes, provides home-going instructions, and assists in provision of continuity of careInstructs and counsels patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens, normal growth and development, and health maintenanceOrder, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients’ clinical problems and health care needsRecords physical findings, and formulates plan and prognosis, based on patient’s conditionMaintains medical recordsOversee up to 3 PA/NPsOther duties as assignedRequirements:Licensed in the State of Texas and valid DEA licenseBilingual preferred but not requiredCompensation and Benefits:Competitive salary commensurate with experienceComprehensive benefits package including- medical/dental/life/vision/paid vacation/CMEPay range is $250,000 to $3000,000 annually
