Recommends, coordinates, and carries out specific initiatives to recruit and retain targeted physicians and APP's. Responsible for strengthening physician and APP awareness of and relationships with the hospital. Recruits' physician and APP candidates from International, National and State level. Follows up on recruitment related physician and APP problems. Identifies retention needs/issues and communicates those to the appropriate department. Evaluates success of program. Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate. Supports and demonstrates Family Centered Care principles when interacting with physicians, patients, their families and with co-workers.
