Your Impactful Role
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or NP program
Board Certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (NP/PA)Must be a Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration Certified Medical Examiner (DOT) or willing to obtain within 90 days of hireCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationPreferred QualificationsMinimum of (2) years of clinical experience working as a Physician Assistant preferably in Occupational Medicine (urgent and primary care experience may be acceptable)Working knowledge of Occupational Health regulations and standards, including but not limited to applicable OSHA standards.Working knowledge of Workers Compensation statutes and workplace implementation.Recent clinical experience in the practice of direct patient careExperience in the review, analysis and interpretation of diagnostic testing including, but not limited to laboratory work, electrocardiogram, pulmonary function testing, audiometry, vision testingPhysical Demands and Work Conditions: The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
