Position:          Physician Assistant – Certified (PA-C)  or Oklahoma Licensed Nurse Practitioner

Scope:               Incarcerated patient population with opioid addiction associated illness

Location:         Based out of Talihina, OK (Negotiable) , plus traveling to various locations within Choctaw Nation 

License:           For PA-C Any State

                           For NP, Oklahoma only

Work Days:      M-F 8am to 4:30pm

Salary:               Varies with Experience but at market rate

The position will require:

•          Knowledge of mental health and addiction treatment for those seeking recovery and for incarcerated patients

•          Meeting the mental health needs (basic physical and/or mental) of our residential treatment center clients and inmates assigned to his/her caseload

•          Travel to local jails to treat inmates to provide basic medical assessment and treatment for inmates which includes but it not limited to prescribing medications, education regarding recovery with the help of medication and/or other measures

•          Cultural connection to reduce the burden of mental health/substance use and aid in relapse prevention for both residential treatment center clients and inmates assigned to caseload

•          Collaboration with the Choctaw Nation court system and probation/parole for inmate needs is essential
