Location: Leland, NCPosition: Physician AssistantJob DescriptionThis position is for 2-3 days per week at a growing private family practice, with potential to be full-time in the future if the candidate desires.Provider will take weekend call in a rotating schedule with other staff providers.Responsibilities:Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a physicianConduct physical examinations and medical historiesOrder and interpret diagnostic tests, such as medical imagingDiagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses and injuriesPrescribe medications and other treatmentsCollaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plansEducate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment options, and preventive measuresParticipate in public health initiatives and community outreach programsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in a related fieldSuccessful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant programCurrent state licensure as a Physician AssistantMore than 2 years of experience in a clinical setting preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a team environmentExcellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilitiesProficiency in data management and electronic health records systemsNote: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
