This position serves as Physician Assistant. It is located within Soldier Care Clinic at the Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center at Fort Eisenhower in Augusta, Georgia.

ResponsibilitiesAs a Physician Assistant you will perform duties such as:
Make independent decisions regarding the medical care required for patients.Perform clinical evaluations of patients needing medical attention.Perform outpatient surgical and non-surgical procedures as designated by credentials committee.Prescribe controlled substances in accordance with scope of practice for Physician Assistants. Qualifications
US Citizenship Required
At least one year of experience as a certified physician assistant treating patients in a Family Practice setting.
Graduation from a physician assistant educational program, accredited by the Accreditation Review Committee on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARCPA), or its predecessors, at a college, university, or educational institution that is accredited by an accrediting body or organization recognized by the Secretary, U.S. Department of Education.
Successful completion of the National Commission of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) examination; must maintain status as a certified physician assistant, including completion of all requirements for continuing medical education (CME) and re-certification.
All Applicants must be licensed as a Physician Assistant by the recognized licensing agency of a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
