LINKS: Fayetteville, NC: http://fayetteville.northcarolina.com/ Womack Army Medical Center: https://womack.tricare.mil/ **Responsibilities** As a Physician Assistant you will perform duties such as: + Perform a variety of professional direct health care clinical duties within the field of Pain Management Clinic. + Secure a health and medical history from the patient or family member, record findings, and make clinical evaluation for assigned patients. + Examine patients and perform initial patient work-up and assessment of patients' care and treatment. + Provide Pain Management care practices and procedures to stabilize chronically ill patients. + Prescribe and treat a variety of diseases, disorders, and injuries for patients. + Perform physical examinations, special physicals, and other related physical examinations on assigned patients. **Qualifications** US Citizenship Required Pain Management experience preferred but not necessary. At least one year of experience as a certified physician assistant treating patients in a Family Practice setting. Graduation from a physician assistant educational program, accredited by the Accreditation Review Committee on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARCPA), or its predecessors, at a college, university, or educational institution that is accredited by an accrediting body or organization recognized by the Secretary, U.S. Department of Education. Successful completion of the National Commission of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) examination; must maintain status as a certified physician assistant, including completion of all requirements for continuing medical education (CME) and re-certification.
