Summary Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner – Part-Time Wound Care – HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Hospital – O’Fallon, IL HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Hospital is recruiting a BC Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Wound Care team in O’Fallon IL. HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Hospital works in partnership with Hospital Sisters Health System. Practice Highlights Well established outpatient wound care clinic Part-Time salary position, 16 hours per week Flexibility on scheduling with preferences for 4 half days per week, 2-3 days per week are also an option. No call or holidays Dedicated support staff provided EPIC EMR Position Requirements Unrestricted Illinois license prior to start Board Certified APRN or PA 2+ years of prior wound care experience is required Compensation & Benefits Package Base salary PTO accrual Sign-on bonus available Qualifications Education Master’s degree in Nursing is required. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing PLUS 5 years relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Doctoral degree in Nursing is preferred. Experience Experience in management of patients across the care continuum preferred. Certifications, Licenses and Registrations Licensed in the state of practice as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse is required. Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (WDSPS) or Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. Board certification from the National Certification Corporation is preferred. Controlled Substance license in state of practice is preferred. Federal DEA license is preferred. Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is preferred.
