The Physician Assistant is accountable for providing health care services to patients under direction and responsibility of Physician/Nurse Practitioner. Provides exceptional care and service to patients, residents, guests and fellow employees at all times. Performs all duties and responsibilities in such a way as to demonstrate and support the hospital's values of hospitality, compassion and stewardship. Provides care/service in accordance with regulatory and accrediting agencies standards and Catholic Ethical and Religious Directives.Education and/or Experience
Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program required. 6 months to 1 year experience required.Licensure/Certification/Registration
Licensure as a Physician Assistant in the state of Nebraska. Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. (NCCPA) Federal DEA certification required for Nebraska. Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.Work Schedule
Varied Shifts, this is a Call-Only position; 80 hours every 2 weeks Mondays and Wednesdays: 7:00am-7:00am – 24 hour on-call shifts Fridays: 7:00am-5:00pm on-call shifts 1 in 7 weekends 1 holiday per year
