Avera is currently seeking a Physician Assistant looking to deliver the best possible care in Avera’s patient-focused settings.

Job Summary

The Physician Assistant is accountable for provision of health care, medical management and education of patients in collaboration with a physician.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program required. Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program preferred.

Certification, Licensure, and/or Registrations

Required upon hire: State of Minnesota Physician Assistant license Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) certification through the Minnesota Board of Nursing Federal and State Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant (NCCPA)

Work Schedule

Day/Evening Shifts: 10:00am-10:30pm; PRN, varied shifts as needed Occasional weekend Occasional holiday
