Avera is currently seeking Physician Assistant (PA) looking to deliver the best possible nursing care in Avera’s patient-focused settings.

*This position is located in Pipestone, MN*

 

Job Summary

The Physician Assistant is responsible for planning, directing, and the delivery of primary health care and health education programs for the Pipestone Medical Clinic.  He/She will provide primary care and health education for the age specific populations including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant Program required. Emergency department experience preferred.

CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE, and/or REGISTRATIONS 

Licensure as a Physician Assistant and ability to practice in the state of Minnesota is required.  Federal DEA certification only is required for Minnesota employees.    National Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) required.

Work Schedule

Monday-Friday; 80hrs/2wks
