Hartford HealthCarersquos Thoracic Surgery team has an opportunity for a Physician Assistant to join a supportive team of PArsquos and physicians in their expanding thoracic surgery line in ConnecticutThis position is located at St Vincentrsquos Medical Center in Bridgeport CTThe role of the surgical Physician Assistant includesmiddot Clinical and administrative dutiesmiddot Seeing outpatients in consultation post operatively and in follow up as well as rounding on inpatientsmiddot Managing new patient referrals the lung cancer screening program and the development of the incidental lung nodule programmiddot Be the face of thepractice and build relationships with patients as well as provider referral networksmiddot Assist top tier surgeons in the operating roommiddot Outpatient inpatient and operating room settingsmiddot Monday through Friday scheduleIf you are aCertified Physician Assistantlicensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Connecticut we would of the lungchest wall and esophagusOffers minimally invasive techniques for lung cancer maximizing patient comfort andminimizes hospital staysSuper dimension navigational bronchoscopy using GPS technologyEndobronchial Ultrasound EBUS to sample lymph nodes inthe center of the chest without the need for incisions We are alsocommitted to providing compassionate care for every stage ofesophageal
