Compensation varies based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, performance and salary range at the time of the offer._ **Responsibilities** Ascension Borgess is looking for a Fellow to join our Structural Interventional Fellowship at Michigan State University/Ascension Borgess Hospital. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Ascension Borgess to provide medical services to patients. **Requirements:** + Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Cardiovascular Disease fellowship. + Completion and passing of all three USMLE steps. + ABIM board eligibility in Cardiovascular Disease or Interventional Cardiology by the start of the program year. + A valid Michigan license and an ECFMG certificate for foreign medical graduates are required. **Training Focus:** + Fellows receive extensive training in Valvuloplasty, TAVR (Edwards, Medtronics, & Abbott Valves), TEER (MitraClip, Pascal), PFO, ASD, VSD, PVL treatment and more, including peripheral vascular interventions, carotid artery stenting, pacemaker implantation (optional), and a variety of advanced techniques. + The training covers the use of invasive and non-invasive diagnostic and therapeutic modalities for Structural Heart Disease. **Educational Objectives:** + Fellows rotate through the catheterization laboratory for one year, gaining exposure to a broad range of structural heart diseases. + The program emphasizes the development of diagnostic skills, including the interpretation of electrocardiograms, chest radiographs, and more. + Regular didactic sessions, clinical conferences, journal clubs, CME, and M&M conferences enhance learning and professional growth. **Research Opportunities:** + Fellows participate in 5-10 cardiovascular research studies annually, ranging from pre-clinical to clinical phases. **Requirements** Licensure / Certification / Registration: + One or more of the following required: + Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Michigan Board of Medicine obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. State of Michigan Physician Limited Educational license at the time of hire/transfer date required or permanent physician license required. + Resident credentialed from the Michigan Board of Medicine obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
