Overview Physician, Fort Sanders Womens Specialists Full time, 80 hours per pay period Fort Sanders Perinatal Center has served women in East Tennessee for more than 20 years, delivering more than 20,000 babies. Our main office is located at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. We have additional offices in Morristown and Sevierville in order to conveniently provide elite high risk pregnancy care throughout the region. For more information please visit https://www.fortsandersperinatal.com/ . Position Summary: To assist the Medical Director and/or Nurse Practitioner in providing clinical services. Responsibilities + Provide direct patient care, evaluates outcomes, and consults with other specialists as required. + Supervise clinical activities of all personnel, and assures treatment and/or plan of care is consistent with established protocols. + Collaborate with the Case Manager(s) to maintain an effective case management process where applicable + Provide assistance to the Director of Operations in the coordination and direction of the HealthWorks program as applicable + Collaborate with the Director of Operations to assure integration of all clinical and administrative functions. + Assures, in collaboration with Director of Operations, that clinic has met and addresses any compliance issues and manages risk management issues as applicable. + Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum Education: Must possess a MD, DO or equivalent degree and a current unrestricted Tennessee Medical License. Must have the ability to analyze situations and make appropriate decisions concerning confidentiality of information. Must also demonstrate good judgment relating to exposure follow-up recommendations. Must demonstrate skill at using appropriate desktop software, including work processing, spreadsheet, database and graphics applications as required. Must demonstrate effectiveness in working with multi-disciplinary teams. Must demonstrate in highest ethical and professional standards. Minimum Experience: A minimum of three (3) years experience as physician with management/leadership experience is preferred. Licensure Requirement: Current unrestricted TN License.
