And above all, it means exceptional care, simply delivered — and we couldn’t do it without you. **Make a Difference** The **Physician Coding Quality and Education Representative** will be responsible for providing education and training to enhance coding proficiency and ensuring accurate and compliant coding practices among our physician staff. As a **coding specialist** , you will: + **Educate and train physicians and coding staff** on coding guidelines, documentation requirements, and regulatory updates. + **Ensure coding accuracy and compliance** by reviewing physician documentation and practices. + **Analyze coding data** to identify improvement opportunities and track performance metrics. + **Collaborate across departments** to address coding-related issues and maintain consistency. + Serve as a **resource** , answering questions and providing guidance on coding matters. Remember that individuals may perform additional related duties not listed here. **Exceptional Skills and Qualifications** + High School Diploma or GED (Required) + Vocational / Technical Degree (Preferred) + 2 years / Associate Degree (Preferred) 4 years / Bachelor's Degree (Preferred) + Oneof the following Certifications is required: Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) **OR** Certified Procedural Coder (CPC) + 1+ years: Experience in E/M auditing. (Required) + 3+ years: Experience in medical coding, with knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
