This is a growth position – not replacement. (Internal medicine hospitalists manage the general and non-neurological care. Strokes are managed by the Stroke program.) + Our ideal candidate would have experience with management of acute inpatient neurologic disorders. + Able to read and interpret EEG’s required. + We are building an integrated neuroscience model that includes neurology, neuropsychology, neuro-intervention, neurosurgery, and rehabilitative medicine. + Advanced Thrombectomy Certified Stroke Center applying for Comprehensive Stroke certification. + Essentia Health St. Mary’s Medical Center is a 336-bed regional tertiary hospital. Inpatient rehab unit at Essentia Health Miller Dwan,is a 150-bed hospital. This includes a Neuroscience Unit at Essentia Health’s St. Mary’s Medical Center, comprised of a Neuro Trauma ICU, Neuro Step Down Unit along with general beds.. + Practice supported by a wide variety of specialty services.
