PRACTICE SPECIFICS

We are hiring a full-time hospitalist/nocturnist to work seven on and seven offs. This position covers both day and night shifts. The day and night rotation is flexible.As a Hospitalist Physician in our community hospital, you will be pivotal in delivering comprehensive medical care to our patients. You will provide high-quality inpatient care, manage acute medical conditions, coordinate with specialists, and collaborate with our multidisciplinary team. This is an excellent opportunity to practice medicine in a supportive and collaborative environment while significantly impacting the health and well-being of our local community.Essentia Health St. Mary’s Detroit Lakes Hospital is a 36-bed Level III Trauma Center.  Essentia Health St. Mary’s Detroit Lakes Hospital is a Vizient top 20 community hospital. Hospitalists will cover patients primarily in the ICU and medical-surgical units.  The average day shift patient encounters are 16 patients. An APP partner supports the day shift.Six physician partners practicing locally to allow flexibility in schedulingInternal Medicine, Hospitalist Residency, or Family Medicine with Hospitalist experienceExcellent compensation package with paid malpractice insurance

COMPENSATION

$337,000.  Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives or production-based compensation.
