The University of Kansas Health System, Department of Medicine, is seeking a full-time Internal Medicine Hospitalist who will join the team and support the departmental mission of delivering the highest quality of care, as well as satisfying teaching, research, and academic responsibilities.
About the Position:
Multiple Positions - Provide medical care on inpatient services. Patient care is provided in shift scheduling to include day, swing and limited night shifts, shared equally among members of the group. 24/7 in-hospital coverage. Limited interaction with house staff in a supervisory and triage role. Nocturnist program in place. Full sub-specialty support closed ICU.
Participate in educational and administrative conferences as directed by immediate supervisor including participation on subcommittees relevant to area of practice or education.
Perform other duties as assigned by Division Director and/or Department Chair.
Required Qualifications:
MD/DO or equivalent
Board certified/board eligible in Internal Medicine
Eligible for licensure in Kansas and Missouri
