Age Specific Responsibility
Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served in assigned department. Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient’s requirements relative to age-specific needs and to provide the care needed as described in the department’s policies and procedures.
Summary
Responsible for marketing the services of the Mary Free Bed Systems to existing and potential referral sources (physicians, case managers, and social workers).
Essential Job Responsibilities
Increases referrals to Mary Free Bed Programs
Staff will provide patient care, treatment, and services within the scope of their license, certification or registration and as required by law and regulation.
Attends Professional Conferences to represent Mary Free Bed Programs.
Analyzes referral patterns and prioritizes time appropriately to increase business.
Develops relationships with current and potential referral sources through education of services offered at Mary Free Bed Systems.
Utilizes sales tools and provides feedback of referral source needs.
Works with Business Development teams to coordinate activities with referring community including sales calls and educational events.
Emphasis on primary care market with the goal of driving new referrals through excellent follow up and presentation of relevant clinical information.
Provides tours for families and case managers as needed.
Assesses changing market needs and referral patterns.
Tracks admissions/referrals.
Analyzes data.
Adjusts activities to promote growth over base year.
Maintains active communication with the Mary Free Bed System business development and leadership team.
Monitors referral trends and changes in the outpatient referral process.
Works with network development team to educate them on market changes and needs of referral sources.
Adds input in the creation of sales tools.
Assists Program Directors/Leaders in the implementation of the sales/marketing plan in each clinical service line.
Adjusts program to meet changing community needs.
Identifies opportunities for new service lines.
Assists with coordinating MFB physicians and clinical staff for marketing opportunities.
Attends meetings and gives updates on sales/marketing activities for Mary Free Bed programs.

Customer Service Responsibilities

Essential Job Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, allied health or relevant work experience.
Two years of experience in related field.
General knowledge of healthcare products and services and principles of marketing and sales.
Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
Requires information management skills to communicate, explain, interpret, and present data.
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in conjunction with a team of professionals for problem solving.
Self-directed and motivated by helping patients receive the best care available.
Preferred Job Qualifications
Experience in marketing and sales and/or rehabilitation.
Healthcare sales experience.
