Job Summary: As a obstetrician-gynecologist, you will play a crucial role in the health and well-being of women during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. Your primary responsibility will be to provide comprehensive prenatal care, ensuring that both mother and baby are healthy throughout the pregnancy journey. You will also be responsible for delivering babies and managing any complications that may arise during labor and delivery. In addition to clinical duties, you will educate patients on reproductive health, family planning, and postpartum care. Ultimately, your expertise will contribute to positive birth outcomes and the overall health of the community. Minimum Qualifications: * Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree. * Completion of a residency in obstetrics and gynecology. * Board certification or eligibility in obstetrics and gynecology. * Ability to practice in the state of Missouri. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience in high-risk obstetrics. * Fellowship training in maternal-fetal medicine. * Proficiency in minimally invasive surgical techniques. Responsibilities: * Conduct regular prenatal check-ups and monitor the health of expectant mothers and their babies. * Perform deliveries and manage labor, ensuring the safety and comfort of the mother and child. * Diagnose and treat any complications that may arise during pregnancy and childbirth. * Provide counseling and education to patients regarding pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care. * Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
