Physician - OB/GYN Generalist - Fremont, MI

Corewell Health Medical Group is seeking an OBGYN to work in beautiful Fremont, Michigan. Join this thriving practice, working with three other OBGYN's and two CNM’s who are all dedicated to providing excellent evidence-based care to a rural and underserved community. This practice is supported by a robust Women’s Health Service Line through Corewell Health that includes maternal fetal medicine, gynecology oncology, urogynecology, sexual health, and menopause services. You will have a good mix of obstetrics and gynecologic surgery with access to excellent robotic surgery technology! Office space is located in the hospital and offers patients services such as social work services, a lab, and physician performed ultrasound! Corewell Health uses Epic EMR.

Required Doctorate

LIC-Physician (MD) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required Or

LIC-Osteopathic Physician (DO) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required

CRT-DEA Registration - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required

CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 120 Days required Or

CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 120 Days required

CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA American Heart Association If required by specialty or stress test performed 120 Days required

Corewell Health Gerber Hospital is a 25-bed Critical Access hospital located in rural Newaygo County, which has a significant Amish population and seasonal migrant farm workers. Gerber Hospital offers inpatient medical, surgical, obstetrical and critical care units. Our Family Birthing Center is highly rated and offers midwife services and individual birth plans. Outpatient services include a full-service laboratory; cancer services; a full complement of medical imaging diagnostic services, including CT, MRI and 3D mammography; cardiopulmonary services; comprehensive rehabilitation services, including cardiac, pulmonary and cancer rehab; occupational therapy and an array of outpatient surgical procedures. Tamarac Health and Wellness Center offers a full-service workout facility, onsite childcare, pool, community class offerings and a full-service spa with massage, facials and more. Gerber Hospital offers a 24-hour emergency department for treatment of minor illness and injuries with minimal wait times. Specialties on our medical staff include general and vascular surgery, orthopedic surgery, pediatrics, ENT, oncology, emergency medicine, family medicine, internal medicine, anesthesiology, radiology, pathology, ophthalmology, obstetrics & gynecology and midwifery. Visiting specialists include cardiology, ENT, Nephrology, and Sleep Medicine.
